Nail Polish Bottle Vaseline Hack—Did You Know This?
Hello.
I'm loving all the Vaseline hacks on Upstyle.
I have not seen this one on Upstyle. So I must add and share this super dupa hack.
I've seen so many beautiful nail designs on Upstyle.
NOW if like me... I have lots of nail polish
Some bottles my nana bought me, lots of years ago.
And are still good to use.
"Have you ever used a brand new bottle, to return to use the same nail polish? And the bottle lid is stuck to the bottle, and you have to twist the lid off?
In the past. The lid would become very tight and unable to open.
I would be frustrated and throw it away.
And buy another.
Until I used my Vaseline hack... Genius!
Below are some of my nail polishes
The sliver and burgundy nail polish bottles need some TLC and will allow me to show my hack using these two bottles.
The lids are very tight to open.

Using a bit of force, lol.
Unscrew the lid
Dip your finger into the vaseline
And rub it all around the rim of the bottle
Looking like below
Screw the lid back on.
AND wow. That's it.
It's like BRAND new.
Very easy to open and close.
The burgundy nail polish lid was stuck
I repeated the same process rubbing vaseline around the top of the bottle
Screwing the lid back on so easy its MAGIC.
And that how to prevent your nail polish lids getting stuck or glued together.
Hope you try this neat trick.
If you have any nail polish bottle that are stuck give it a try.
In seconds it will be like brand new once more.
It's worked for me.
And keeps my nail polishes in good condition for years
