No More Loose Baby Hairs With This Updo
Updos can be a struggle for people with short hair. Especially when it comes to those dreaded baby hairs that always stick out at the nape of the neck.
In this tutorial, I’ll show you an updo hairstyle hack to avoid them! Let’s get into it.
Tools and materials:
- Hair ties
- Hair clips
1. Tie up the top section of your hair
Divide your hair into a top and bottom section. Tie up the top section into a ponytail.
Clip away the ends of the ponytail so it’s not in your way.
2. Clip away the middle section
Divide the bottom section into two to create a middle section. Clip away the top half for now.
3. Tie off the bottom section
Tie the bottom section with a hair tie.
4. Combine each section with the one above it
Untie the middle section, and divide it into two. Tie the tail of the bottommost section with the bottom half of the middle section.
Repeat with the rest of the hair, save for the top half.
5. Put the rest of the hair into a bun
Unclip the top section and turn it into a bun with the tail of the previous section.
