Do you want to experiment with your eyeshadow and try out a colorful eye look?

Today, we're going to do an orange eye makeup look that has a gorgeous color intensity. Let's get started.

Tools and materials:

  • Setting mist
  • Foundation
  • Concealer
  • Beauty blender
  • Powder
  • Soap
  • Eyebrow pencil
  • Bronzer
  • Eyelash curler
  • Orange eyeshadows
  • Makeup brushes
  • Mascara
  • Bronzer
  • Blush
  • Lip liner
  • Lip balm
Applying mist

1. Hydrating mist

Start by adding some hydration with a hydrating mist. If you have dry skin, I recommend using this as it feels so good on the skin.

Applying foundation

2. Foundation

Now apply foundation in medium to full coverage all over your face with a sponge.

Apply the foundation in very thin layers so that you can build up the pigment without getting a thick layer of foundation.

Wait a bit in between applying each layer to let them sit and dry a little.

Applying concealer

3. Concealer

Apply concealer under your eyes and use it to cover any spots that you may have.

Applying powder

4. Powder

Finish your skin with some powder.

Press the powder with your sponge everywhere that you feel that you’re going to be a little bit oily during the day.

5. Eyebrows

I’m going to set my eyebrows with a little bit of soap and draw a few hairs with some brow tint.

Applying bronzer

6. Bronzer

Add a little bit of powdered bronzer to your face to add a little bit of contour and definition.

Applying blush

7. Blush

Add a tiny bit of color to your cheeks.

You don’t want a lot because we’re going to do a colorful eyeshadow look so you don't want your cheeks to compete with your eyes.

Curling lashes

8. Curl your eyelashes

Curl your eyelashes.

Applying setting mist

9. Apply setting mist

I like to apply a setting mist before my eyeshadow to refresh the makeup on my face, especially because I used a lot of powder.

You want it to sink in so that the makeup will look very hydrated and it won’t get crusty and dry while you do your eyeshadow.

Applying orange eyeshadow

10. Orange eyeshadow

Pick up a light peach eyeshadow on a blending brush and apply it to your crease. So you’re going to start by adding this shade as a transition shade.

It will add a little bit of color and depth. Take your time blending it in and bring it slightly higher up your eyelids as well as towards the bottom of your eyebrow.

Applying orange eyeshadow

Now take a peach eyeshadow in a slightly darker shade.

Do the same but concentrate it a little bit more, so it's not as blended out as the other one but still seamless. We want it to look a bit like a sunrise.

Applying orange eyeshadow

Next, take a burnt orange shade and apply it with a smaller brush just in the outer corner.

You want to make it as pigmented as you can before blending it in. Don’t bring it out too much. Proceed to blend it out with your blending brush.

Applying orange eyeshadow

Pick up some of the first color on a flat, smudger brush and apply that color under your eyes. Make sure you blend it well.

Then, take the darker color again and apply it in the outer corner of your lower lash line to connect that with the outer corner of the top.

Applying orange eyeshadow

Using the same flat brush, pick up a shimmery dark orange color and press it into the inner corner of your lids, going into the middle of the lids.

You don’t need to blend this color out. You just want to pack it in. Make sure that every edge is blended out but be sure not to move the colors from where they are.

Applying mascara

11. Mascara

Now add a bit of mascara.

Applying blush

12. Bronzer and blush

Now I feel like my eyes are too bold relative to the rest of my face, so I’m going to add a bit of bronzer and blush to finish the look.

I used bronzer and blush that have a little bit of a glow to them. Be sure not to overdo it, though, as we want the glow to be subtle and natural looking.

Lining lips

13. Lips

Use a lip liner to give the shape back to your lips, and then blur it out with your finger.

Finish by putting on some nude lip balm with your finger.
