Today I am showing you how to do your eye makeup in five minutes or less! I'll be creating something a bit different today; a beautiful orange eyeshadow look. This could be worn for the autumn or the summer, and it's very striking.

Tools and materials:

  • Eyeshadow palette
  • Eyeshadow brushes
  • Eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Shimmery eyeshadow primer

I'm using the Sigma Fiery Eyeshadow Palette, but you could use your own products in similar colors to recreate this look.

Applying a transition eyeshadow color to the crease

1. Transition color

As my transition color in my crease I am using a color called Apricot. This color is on the orange side and is quite pigmented so be gentle when you apply.

Deepening the orange color on the outer crease

2. Corner color

For the next color, I am using an even more pigmented shade of orange to deepen the outer portion of my crease.

Accentuating the outer portion of the eye with a pink-orange color

3. Accentuate color

I am using another shade of orange slightly going into pink to accentuate the outer portion of my eye and slightly going into the crease.

Applying a pine-toned eyeshadow to the base of the lid

4. Base color

For the base of my eyelid, I am using a beautiful pink-toned color. Apply gently so as not to get too much pigment on the lid.

Applying orange eyeshadow to the lower lash line

5. Lower lash line

I am going back into the orange pinkish color from earlier to apply to my lower lash line. This will really draw my eyes out and make them pop.

6. Buff it out

I am going to use my original color, a soft orange as well as another rust-like color to buff out the pigment on my lower lash line.

7. The rest of the eyelid

I am using a beautiful shimmery gold shade for the rest of the eyelid to blend everything together.

You may need to pat the powder into your eyelid with your finger to get more pigment onto the lid.

8. Shade the outer corners

I am using a deep rose color to shade out the outer corners of my lid to make everything a little darker. This will blend all the colors together.

9. Highlight

Next, I am applying a light blush color just below my brow.

Applying shimmer to the inner corners of eyes

10. Add the shimmer

I am applying an eyeshadow base primer that has some shimmer to the inner corners of my eyes.

Blending the shimmery orange eyeshadow

11. Blend out the shimmer

I am going to use the gold shade from earlier to blend out the shimmer that I just applied to the inner corners of my eyes.

Applying eyeliner to the waterline

12. Eyeliner

Apply eyeliner as normal. I am personally doing a winged look as well as applying it to my waterline.

This is the finished look. This orange makeup look is so gorgeous and shimmery, I just love it! It looks just like the autumn leaves or summer sunsets, making this look perfect for either season.
