Welcome! Here, I’m going to show you how to style a structured black blazer by sharing some black blazer outfit ideas. Oversized blazers are really in at the moment, but that doesn’t mean that we should leave our structured ones just to collect dust.
Structured blazers are chic, stylish, and elegant and - in my opinion anyway - a timeless classic.
1. Black blazer with a midi dress
In this first look, I paired a beautiful white dress with knee-high boots and a black blazer.
I love how the high-rise of the boots works with the low length of the dress; it’s almost as if the two pieces meet each other in a harmonious balance.
Black and white is an unfailing combination that creates a very elegant look.
2. Monochrome black blazer outfit
One of the easiest ways to wear a structured blazer is by pairing it with a little more oversized shirt underneath; the two together look very modern.
Here, I’ve gone for a monochromatic look but the contrasting fits of the loose shirt with the skinny jeans, as well as the different materials keep this look trendy and interesting.
I added in a red bag for a little pop of color.
3. Black blazer outfit with light-dark contrast
This outfit is very similar to the previous one but with a slight difference. Instead of skinny black jeans, I opted for some cream pencil pants, and I also have loafers to change up the footwear.
The blazer looks very contemporary when styled this way. I like how this look creates a light-dark contrast. The fact that my pants are in a light color draws attention to my legs and makes them the main focus of this look.
4. Black blazer with a silk dress
I couldn’t miss out on a chance to style this midi silk dress with the structured blazer. Again, I am wearing my beautiful suede knee-high boots, which finish off the look.
I love wearing everything black from head to toe; all of the pieces work together so well. It’s so simple yet so beautiful.
5. Black blazer with structured pants
This look right here is an office-appropriate one. I am wearing some structured pants that I love the cut of, and I tucked a blouse inside them.
I rolled up the blazer sleeves a little bit to expose the ends of the blouse, which is a great little styling tip. Black pumps give the outfit a sophisticated finish.
6. Black blazer with faux-leather pants
I love these faux-leather pants; they are one of my favorite recent purchases. I kept the styling simple with a white button-down and popped the blazer on over my shoulders for a little chic factor.
This is such an effortless look, and you could easily dress it down with some sneakers to create a more street-style vibe.
7. Black blazer with denim
I’m finishing off the lookbook by bringing in a little bit of color. I’m styling these light-blue tones with the blazer, and I love how all of the elements come together to create a look that is so much more than the sum of its parts.
The jeans are obviously very casual, but the blazer, shirt, and loafers keep the outfit looking put-together and elegant.
