Protect Your Hair and Keep the Flyaways Down With This Braided Look
If you find it hard to control the flyaways, this style may be exactly what you need.
It’s perfect for curly hair but looks great on straight hair too. And it’s very easy to do!
Tools and materials:
- Tail comb
- Hair ties
- Hair decor (optional)
1. Section
Part your hair down the center from front to back.
Divide it into four equal sections. Secure the two front sections into ponytails on top of your head on each side. Clip the back sections out of the way.
2. Braid the front
Wet your hair to make it easier to braid.
Braid the two front sections downwards.
3. Braid the back
Brush out the two back sections and tie them into ponytails about 3 inches up from your neck.
Take one front section diagonally across the back of your head and incorporate it into the ponytail on that side.
Braid the two sections of hair together.
Repeat with the second front section on the other side.
Cute braided look
From the front, your hair looks smooth, sophisticated and sleek.
All the action is at the back!
The sharper you can make the initial partings, the better the effect will be.
I like to add some hair decor to the front over the hair ties. See what you think.
