In this tutorial, I’m going to share my eyebrow styling routine with you.

Being a redhead, I have very light eyebrows, basically blonde, that you can't see very well, so filling them in makes a huge difference.

Eyeshadow

In terms of products, I opt for eyeshadow in a medium-light brown.

If you want your brows to look darker, then you can go in with a darker shade of brown.

I prefer using eyeshadow to an eyebrow pencil as I think this helps to create a softer and more natural look.

Brow comb and makeup brush

The tools I use are a small makeup brush and an eyebrow comb.

Combing eyebrows

1. Comb eyebrows

Start by combing your eyebrows to get your eyebrow hairs in place.

2. Fill in eyebrows

Next, take some eyeshadow and fill in your eyebrows.

I am going to make my eyebrows a little darker this time, so I'm not using the color that matches my hair perfectly because I want them to be a bit bolder.

Start by filling in the top part of your eyebrows, bringing the product down to the ends.

Use little strokes and make sure that you follow the natural shape of your brows.

Then, I’m using a darker shade to fill in the lower part of my eyebrows.

Ensure that you fill in areas that are sparse or quite light in color.

3. Blend

Now, take your small eyebrow comb and comb through your brows, as this will blend the two shades together so that they fade into one another.

Doing this also softens the look so that you’re not left with any harsh lines.

4. Brush back in place

Then use the other side of the brush to brush your eyebrows back down so that they’re in place.

Progress shot

Here, I have done one eyebrow, and you can see what a difference it makes.

5. Fill in other eyebrow

Proceed to follow the same steps to fill in your other eyebrow.

If you want your eyebrows to stay in place perfectly, you can apply some eyebrow gel to them, but I don't use that too often because I like my eyebrows to look softer and more natural.

Here are my finished brows! I love how filling them in has made them darker and added more definition, yet at the same time, they still match my hair color perfectly.

The brows frame my face in a really nice way and help to bring out my natural beauty.

I hope you find this eyebrow tutorial for redheads helpful and that you’ll give it a go yourself!
