Today, I’m going to show you my eyebrow grooming routine. It doesn’t involve anything complicated or crazy.

It’s just an easy and practical way to groom and fill in your eyebrows.

Tools and materials:

  • Sharp scissors
  • Eyebrow brush and comb
  • Tweezer
  • Eyebrow shadow
  • Angled brush
  • Sculpting mascara
Trimming brows

1. Trim

I like to use a pair of sharp scissors to trim my eyebrows. This is to make sure my eyebrows don’t get too long and it keeps the hair in better shape.

I use an eyebrow brush to brush my eyebrows upwards. After brushing upwards, I trim any hair at the top that goes above the shape of the eyebrow.

Trimming makes it easier to shape the brows. It also gives you a much cleaner look. After I’m done at the top, I brush the hair down.

Again, I trim any hair that comes down past the brow shape.

Tweezing brows

2. Tweeze

I don’t like to do too much tweezing, but I do find it necessary to go in and tweeze out some of the stray hairs that grow under the shape of the eyebrow.

I don’t want to over-tweeze so I just pluck out anything that is really out of place.

Filling in brows

3. Filling in

To start the filling-in process I brush the eyebrow hair upward again.

Then I take a light shade of powder color from my eyebrow kit. I use an angled eyeshadow brush to fill in the brow with color.

You can fill in the entire eyebrow but you mainly want to focus on the areas that are a bit more sparse.

After that, you can use your eyebrow brush again and brush through them again to make sure all the powder is blended into the eyebrow and doesn’t look too harsh.

Applying sculpting mascara

4. Sculpting mascara

I like to use sculpting mascara in a light brown color and brush it lightly over my eyebrows.

You don’t have to do this every day, but if you really want your eyebrows to maintain their shape throughout a busy day, brow mascara is a great way to hold that shape.

Just brush it in and then use your brow brush to reshape the brow.

Groomed brows

Eyebrow grooming

That is all I do. It doesn’t take very long and I find it really makes a difference.

I don’t know about you but I just feel so much more put together and confident when my eyebrows are perfectly shaped and filled.

Try out my technique and leave me a comment to let me know if it works as well for you as it does for me.
