Lip balm

1. Hydrate your lips

Apply your favorite lip balm to start off with hydrated lips.

2. Fill in your brows

Comb through your brows to tame them, and fill in with either a matching eyeshadow color on a small brush or using an eyebrow pencil.

Remember that the eyebrow should start at the inner corner of your eye.

Then brush them out again to put them back into shape.

Combing brows

Here you can see the difference, especially since my untouched brows are particularly light:

3. Apply eyelid primer

Apply eyelid primer to your eyelids and a bit below your lower lash line. Then blend it with your finger.

4. Use white eyeshadow to highlight

Apply a white eyeshadow on a small brush to the inner corners of your eyes to brighten them.

Highlighting eyes

Also apply this right under your eyebrows.

I’m also applying it to the outer corners of my eyelids because they tend to get red.

Highlighting eyes

Run it just below your lower lash line as well.

5. Apply medium brown eyeshadow

On a fluffy blending brush, apply a medium brown eyeshadow into the crease of your eyes.

Then pull the brown onto the eyelid as well as up to meet the white that’s under your eyebrows.

6. Apply eyeliner

Dip an eyeliner brush into brown gel eyeliner and apply it to your upper lash line.

You can use a black eyeliner if you have a darker complexion or darker hair.

You can skip the wings or make them as dramatic as you’d like. I’m adding a simple wing.

Applying eyeliner

Before it dries completely, blend out the top of the eyeliner with your finger.

7. Make your lashes pop

Use an eyelash curler to lift your lashes.

Then apply mascara.

Again, I’m using a lighter shade of mascara to match my complexion for this spring makeup look.

Apply 2 coats of mascara, as well on the lower lashes.

8. Cover blemishes

Apply mineral powder foundation to lightly cover any blemishes.

9. Apply berry lip color

Apply a berry lip color to your lips that’s perfect for this cute spring makeup look.

Since we left the eyes and face so simple, this bolder lip color ties it all together.
