Today, I will be teaching you how to make DIY rose oil for your face. This rose oil recipe is super simple and user-friendly! Rose oil has many health and cosmetic benefits. It can be used to clear up face acne, eczema, or just overall dry skin.

You can make this rose face oil for yourself or make a batch to create gifts for friends and family. Let’s get into it!

Tools and materials:

  • Rose petals
  • Mini funnels
  • 50ml glass dropper bottles (1.7 fluid ounces)
  • Tea tree oil
  • Rosehip oil
  • Jojoba oil
  • Grapeseed oil
  • Sweet almond oil
Prepping bottles by adding rose petals

1. Prep your bottles

Place your rose petals into each bottle that you are making. Feel free to make as many or as few bottles as you would like.

Adding the oils to the bottles

2. Combine the oils

Using the small funnels, pour in the oils in the following measurements:

  • 25ml sweet almond oil (⅘ fluid ounce)
  • 10ml grapeseed oil (⅓ fluid ounce)
  • 7.5ml rosehip oil (¼ fluid ounce)
  • 7.5ml jojoba oil (¼ fluid ounce)
  • 5 drops of tea tree oil

I like to just eyeball my measurements as I know roughly how much I working with and the proportions. It doesn't have to be exact.

Make sure to leave a gap at the top of the bottle so that there is enough space for the pipette to go in and for the oils to combine when you shake the bottle.
