Transform Some Sneakers With $3 Napkins From Target
If you have a pair of simple white sneakers that you want to transform into something cute and fun, try out this simple hack!
Tools and materials:
- White shoes
- Napkins
- Mod Podge glue
All you need are these cute $3 napkins and some Mod Podge glue. Let’s get started.
1. Remove the design from the napkin
Typically, stylish napkins like this will have multiple layers. The topmost layer should have the design on it.
Pull apart the napkins so you have the thin layer of the design by itself.
2. Apply glue to the shoe
Next, use a paintbrush to apply glue to the shoe where you want the napkin design to go.
I’m using Mod Podge which has both glue and a sealant.
3. Place the napkin on the shoe
Place the napkin design over the shoe and press it down so it sticks to the glue.
4. Remove the excess napkin
Rip off the excess napkin that overflows where the glue isn’t applied.
5. Repeat
Do the above steps around the entire shoe.
6. Add glue to the top
Apply the Mod Podge glue over the laid napkin and let it dry.
