Simple Getting Ready Tips That Make A Difference
Getting ready is simple, right? But sometimes it's the small details that get us. The tiniest details can sometimes make the biggest difference. Here are a few super simple tips for getting ready that make a big difference.
TIP 1: WEAR TALL SOCKS WITH DRESS PANTS & BOOTIES
Dress pants and other various work pants usually hit different on the ankle. They're cut slightly higher and show your ankles, which is not idea when wearing booties. And an ankle gap is not cute or comfortable. So to fix this, wear a pair of same-colored tall socks that can easily tuck under your dress pants. This continues the line from your pants down to your boots and fills the awkward ankle gap.
TIP 2: USE BOBBY PINS WAVY-SIDE DOWN
Yep, it may sound crazy if you've never heard it, but the wavy side of bobby pins is actually meant to be worn down against your head. This allows the bobby pin to have a greater grip and help keep your hair in place better. With the flat side down against your head, it can easily slip and mess up your look.
TIP 3: TURN YOUR RING INSIDE WHEN PUTTING ON CLOTHES
For all my engaged and married peers, changing your outfit or getting dressed can sometimes be a struggle. Your ring catches on it or gets in the way when putting on clothing. I've been told to put your ring on last after you're dressed. But if you're already wearing it and don't want to take it off, there's an easy fix! Simply turn your ring to the inside of your hand and close your fist as you get dressed. This covers the ring and protects your clothes from getting snagged or caught on it.

Going to pass the sock gap one onto my daughter who always has “that” gap! Xx
There is nothing wrong with ankle gap. It gives an edgier look. But if it’s uncomfortable then by all means wear socks if you choose. But if you look at fashion blogs, Pinterest, magazines and store ads you’ll find ankle gap on most wearing booties. Just my opinion. You look super cute either way! Love your camel blazer.
