I made this Talvikki sweater, from the softest loop back French Terry and its so comfy!!

The fabric is ridiculously soft and drapey, so warm, cosy and just delicious!!

I quickly got the pattern pieces cut out, there weren't many as you can see, just a back, a front, two sleeves and the neck facing!

No tricky zips, buttonholes or fitting issues to slow me down today!!

I took extra care with the seam lines here on the neck darts, because I wanted them to be beautifully lined up and equal in length at both sides.

But once they had been pinned into place I sewed them up and then overlocked the shoulder seams!

Here you can see I've got the neck facing piece attached, and we're not far off the finish line!!

I stitched the sleeves on and then quickly stitched down the side seams and hem. I really love to use these Clover wonder clips, so useful!

I just love the neckline darts!!

Voila, all finished!! I styled my new Talvikki top two ways to demonstrate how versatile it is, here I've got some black Capri and a statement necklace, so comfy but also very stylish I think!!

Anyone for a shopping trip??

Or what about this version, skinny jeans and my favourite Bloomingdales shopping bag!??

I hope you love my new make, I'm so thrilled with it!!
