The Possibilities Are Endless With This Easy DIY
Feathers are so glamorous and you can use this technique to easily make yourself some gorgeous slap-bracelets or hair accessories.
Follow along and get started!
Tools and materials:
- Metal tape measure (buy one for this DIY)
- Scissors
- Assorted craft feathers
- Packing or duct tape
- Glue
1. Cut up your tape measure
Depending on what you want to make, measure the length you need, and then cut that length from your metal tape measure.
Round off each end of the metal band you have cut.
This kind of metal tape measure will work just like a slap bracelet, because it will mold around your wrist!
2. Cover your band
Cover your whole band with packing or duct tape to both cover the tape measure and protect you from any sharp edges.
3. Decorate your band
Now use glue to attach whatever feathers you choose, to completely cover the top of your band.
