This is so Much Better Than Pigtails
This is so much better than pigtails. You guys have to try this hairstyle instead of the standard pigtail. A couple of fishtail braids will elevate your entire look.
Tools and materials:
- Hair elastics
- Brush
1. Pigtails and fishtails
Start by putting your hair in pigtails.
Now, begin on one side by taking one of the pigtails and splitting it into two separate strands.
Take a small section of hair from the outer edge of one side. Bring it over and add it to the opposite section.
Then take a section of hair from the outer edge of that section, bring it over, and add it to the opposite section.
Continue to do this all the way to the end, bringing an outer section from one side and combining it with the opposite side.
This will create the fishtail. Do the same to the other pigtail.
2. Add volume
Now that you have two gorgeous, neat, and tight fishtails, let’s add a bit more texture and volume.
Go along the edges of the fishtail and tug lightly at the hair to loosen and add volume to the fishtail. You can make it as loose as you like.
Once you are satisfied, do the same to the other fishtail and do your best to match the volume and shape of the opposite side.
This is so much better than pigtails
I love how gorgeous the fishtail braids look. They’re so much prettier and more interesting than the standard pigtails.
