Hi everyone. Today, I'm going to show you how to upcycle your leftover denim scraps into a cute DIY bucket hat.

For this project, I used the bucket hat sewing pattern from The Essentials Club.

Let’s get started!

Tools and materials:

Cutting out pattern pieces

1. Cut out the pattern pieces

Download the pattern, then carefully cut out your pattern pieces from your leftover denim scraps.

Pinned denim

2. Pin the pattern pieces together

Sewing

3. Sew!

Then, use your sewing machine to sew all the pattern pieces together into a cute DIY bucket hat.

And now you have a super cute bucket hat to protect yourself from the sun during the upcoming warmer months. This is such a great use for old denim scraps that you otherwise would have no purpose for.
