Tools and materials:

  • Vaseline

  • Aloe vera gel
  • Saucepan
  • Small jar
  • Cornstarch
  • Turmeric
  • Rose water

Vaseline

1. DIY under eye cream

The first recipe involves a mixture of Vaseline, coconut oil, natural honey, olive oil, and aloe vera gel. Vaseline serves as a moisturizer, coconut oil delays wrinkles, honey prevents premature aging, olive oil removes fine lines, and aloe vera gel contributes to the overall blend.

To prepare the mixture, combine these ingredients in a bowl, placing the mixture in a saucepan on the stove to dissolve the petroleum jelly and coconut oil, and then adding aloe vera gel.

The final creamy mixture is stored in a small jar and applied under the eyes before bedtime, massaging for a minute and leaving it overnight.

This cream, suitable for both men and women, aims to remove wrinkles, puffiness, and sagging eyelids.

2. DIY anti-wrinkle cream

The second recipe focuses on a natural anti-wrinkle cream. It includes cornstarch, turmeric, rose water, and natural honey. Rose water cleanses and softens the skin, while honey contributes to the anti-aging effects.

Be careful when applying turmeric to the skin as it can sometimes cause temporary staining!

The ingredients are mixed, heated on the stove for 10 minutes until a creamy mixture is achieved, and then stored in a small jar.

This cream is applied to the face and neck, targeting wrinkles around the eyes, and is left on for 30 minutes before washing off.

The recommendation is to repeat this recipe three times a week, promising noticeable results within the first week, resulting in tight and smooth skin.

My opinion: Every ingredient in this is good for your skin EXCEPT Vaseline. It is petroleum which sits on the skin, can block your pores. Seems to moisturize because it doesn't let anything evaporate. Aloe Vera and honey are moisturizers as well as healing to tissue, coconut oil has multiple attributes to heal, soften and heal the skin.
