20 Tips That Change How I Do Makeup
Hey everyone! I’m going to share some tips that change how I do makeup. I only wish I had learned them sooner.
Tools and materials:
- Water-based or gel-based moisturizer
- Eye primer
- Lash curler
- Concealer
- Brow pen/pencil combo
- Color corrector
- Mascara
1. Lighting tip
Do your makeup in the light in which you’re going to be seen.
2. Eye tips
To avoid gray under the eyes, conceal with your skin shade or a color corrector before going in with a brightening concealer.
Use a gel-based or water-based moisturizer under your eyes for optimal concealer application.
For that hollow under eyes, add a lighter concealer to the area above your dark circle line.
To prevent eyeshadow creasing use an eye primer instead of a concealer.
When applying eyeliner, open your eyes and rest your eyelids.
Align the metal part of your lash curler to the angle of your lash line.
Look in the opposite direction of where you’re applying your mascara.
Use a brow pencil and pen combo for the most realistic looking hairs.
3. Tan tip
For a realistic tan, use a slightly reddish bronzer. This tells the eye the color came from the sun.
4. Contour tips
Use a contour that’s slightly darker, or greyer than your skin shade. This mimics the color of your existing shadows.
Place contour under where you want your cheekbone and jaw to sit.
5. Lip tips
If you have a double lip line, line the inner one on the sides and the outer one in the center.

I’ll try, but I’m not good at applying make up. I keep wishing for somebody to do it for me so that I know how to apply make up.
