Who doesn't love a quick 5-minute makeup routine? In this tutorial, I'm going to show you a natural 5-minute makeup look for fall that is great for those of us who are over 40 and have more mature skin. This makeup routine is quick and easy to do and will leave you looking fabulous in no time!

I'm using a cream makeup palette by SEINT, but you can use your own products to replicate the same techniques for this look.

Tools and materials:

  • Contour
  • Highlighter
  • Bronzer
  • Makeup brushes
Applying contour with a makeup brush

1. Apply contour

First, go ahead and apply contour on your forehead and underneath your cheekbones. Take the detail brush and press some contour shade right up underneath the cheekbones. Then go ahead and contour your nose.

Next, take your contour and add a bit along your jawline and underneath your chin to define your bone structure.

2. Apply highlighter

Now, take one of your highlight shades to color correct or conceal. I like to use it on my hyperpigmentation. You can use this shade for redness, under-eye discoloration, sun spots, age spots, anywhere that you need a little extra coverage, and a little is all it takes.

Go ahead and dab your brush into your main highlight or foundation shade and apply that just by tapping or stippling in between your contour and your color-correcting shade. A little goes a long way.

Pick up a little bit of your third highlight shade - this will be your brightener shade or accent shade. Apply this to the center of your face in areas that you want to pull forward. Use it to add some brightness and light!

3. Blend

Now you're just going to go ahead and blend, blend, blend. I like to start with the lightest shades first, so blend in your highlight or brightening shade. Then switch over to a larger brush, tapping and stippling to create one seamless foundation.

4. Add lip, cheek, and eye color

Lastly, you're going to add some lip, eye, and cheek color. I'm using a bronzer as a blush, and I'm also going to use it on my lips. Go ahead and just dab some on; I love to combine lip and cheek shades.

Add some pink color over the top of your lips and cheeks to combine the two to create a custom look. Use the bronzer as a cream eyeshadow as well.

This is the finished look, and I love it! It was so quick and easy to do. My skin looks smooth, clear, and defined. This fall-inspired 5-minute makeup look really requires minimal effort, yet it delivers maximal results. Give it a go!
