Regular headbands are great, but if you’re looking for something a bit more fashionable, you’ll like this accessory. It’s a turban headband!

This kind of headband is just as practical as the basic headband, just a lot more stylish. The twisted shape is a characteristic touch that will give you a neat trendy look whenever you put this accessory on.

The best part about this turban headband is its simplicity, you can make it fast and easy, and you’ll have fun doing it!

Cut the fabric

You will need two strips of stretch fabric, each one measuring 5 x 21 inches in size.

Use fabrics in different colors for the two pieces to give the turban headband some extra flair.

Sew the turban headband

Fold each fabric piece in half so that the long edges are aligned. Pin and sew the long raw edge on both pieces. Use a stretch or a medium zig-zag stitch.

Turn both pieces inside out.

Finish the turban headband

Place the fabric pieces over each other so that they form a plus sign. Fold each one in half so that all four short edges meet. If you did everything right, the folds will be entwined with each other similar to a chain.

Stitch the short edges together, turn the whole thing over, and you’ll get your new turban headband.
