Five Ways to Wear a Scarf

Add interest to an outfit with a scarf, and keep warm on cool mornings as the weather starts to warm up. Weather it is an infinity scarf, square, or rectangular shape, I have several ways to style it.

I folded a large, plaid scarf with opposite ends together, making a triangle shape. I then tied it in a knot at the back of my neck. I paired it with a coordinating tee, jeans, and a utility jacket.

I tied a skinny, silk scarf in a loose knot over a denim dress and paired it with a cardigan and boots. This style of scarf is also perfect to tie around your head like a headband.

I wrapped a long, rectangular scarf around my neck twice, tying it at the back of my neck. I layered it over an olive green tunic and paired it with black skinny jeans and tall boots.

I used an oversized, lightweight scarf as a shawl, draping it over my shoulders on top of a sleeveless dress. You could also belt it for a poncho look.

I tied the opposite ends of a large, square scarf together and wrapped it around my neck twice, arranging the points in the center of my body. The neutral scarf and gray striped canvas sneakers are the perfect compliment to a bright t-shirt dress.
