Take Your Outfit up a Notch by Doing This With a Scarf
You can elevate any outfit you wear just by adding a scarf, but it’s all about how you tie the outfit that will make or break your look.
For example, simply tying a scarf around your neck like this isn’t the most stylish way you could be wearing it.
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to tie your scarf to take any outfit up a notch. Let’s get started.
Tools and materials:
- Scarf
- Bobby pin
1. Position your scarf
Pull your scarf around yourself from the back as if you were wearing a cape.
2. Pull the edge through a buttonhole
With a bobby pin, attach it first to one corner of your scarf and then pull it through the topmost button hole of your shirt.
3. Button your shirt with the scarf over the buttons
With the other end of the scarf, place the fabric over the buttons and button your shirt.
When you push the button through, the scarf should act as a cover for the button.
I buttoned down two, but it will depend on how many buttons you have.
