Simple Trick to Upgrade Your Button-up With a Scarf
I’m going to show you a really cool trick to refashion your boring button-up tops into something new with only a scarf. Let’s get into it.
Tools and materials:
- Scarf
- Cufflinks
1. Fold the scarf
Fold your scarf into a triangle by meeting two of the opposite corners.
2. Tie the tip of the triangle
Take the middle-most point and tie the two folded layers of the scarf together. Tighten it with just enough room to go around your neck.
3. Tie it around your neck
Tie the two tails around your neck.
4. Tie the long end around your waist
Tie the two remaining ends around your waist.
5. Tuck in the tails
Tuck in the ends in the back.
6. Add cufflinks
You can also add more detail to the top by adding some cufflinks.

Here’s the finished design of the top! I kept the bottom of my top beneath the scarf unbuttoned to give the shirt a bit more style.
