How to Make a Simple Aloe Vera & Coffee Face Mask - Natural Skincare

Does coffee help get you going? Did you know that coffee is good for your skin too?
A good face mask can make your face feel and look great, and this tutorial will show you how to make your own aloe vera and coffee face mask that you can use twice a week.
The aloe vera gets into your pores and revitalizes your skin, and the coffee helps get rid of dark spots. You may need to buy aloe vera gel and tea tree oil, and if you do, you’ll have enough to make this recipe many, many times!
Tools and materials:
- Aloe vera gel
- Tea tree oil
- Ground coffee
- Measuring spoons
- Bowls
1. Coffee and aloe vera gel mask recipe
- 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
- 1 teaspoon ground coffee
- 1 drop of tea tree oil
2. How to make the mask
Measure 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel into a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of ground coffee. Mix the aloe vera and coffee together until well combined.
Add only one drop of tea tree oil and mix it into the aloe vera and coffee. Tea tree oil has antioxidant properties that help with skin healing, and it also leaves your skin nice and soft.
Because this recipe only uses one drop of tea tree oil, the scent will not be too strong.
3. How to apply the mask
Simply rub the mask all over your face evenly, using your fingertips in a circular motion. Leave it on for 30 minutes.
Rinse it off and follow up with a night cream.
You will probably only use about half of what you made, so save the rest for later in the week. But don’t leave it for too long because aloe vera gel, being water-based, does not have a very long shelf life.
Aloe vera and coffee face mask
This is a great natural face mask alternative to commercial face masks that may include harsh chemicals. Try it out and leave a comment to let me know how you liked this coffee and aloe vera face mask.
