Braid Each Side of Your Head and Then End Like This!
Braid each side of your head and end like this. This is going to be a unique and fun twist on side braids. I am wild about this look.
It’s especially perfect for the summer heat when you want to keep your hair out of your face but still look fabulously styled.
Tools and materials:
- Comb
- Hair elastics
- Spray bottle with water
1. Spray, separate, and section
Spray some water on the ends of your hair and brush it to make it easier to work with.
Separate and section your hair to make Dutch braids. I like this look best with a side part rather than a center part.
2. Braid
You’re going to make Dutch braids. This is like making French braids on each side of your head, but you will make the braids using the inside-out technique.
This simply requires braiding the inner strands out instead of the other strands in like you would with a regular braid.
Instead of braiding all the way to the bottom, stop when you get to the back of your head.
3. Tie it all together
Bring the ends of the braids together and braid the rest of the hair altogether.
Braid towards one side of your head so the braid falls to one side.
Braid each side of your head and then end like this!
There you have it. I just love this fresh take on a classic hairstyle like Dutch braids. The asymmetry gives it a modern feel.
What do you think? Give it a try on your hair.
