1 Chambray Top, 3 Ways

As we transition from Summer to Fall, chambray is a great option. It’s light enough that you can still wear it in Summer and thick enough to withstand the drop in temperature. I’m a big fan of chambray button down shirts, so I’m showing you 3 ways to wear one that work for this Summer to Fall transition period. The top I’ve linked to is from J. Crew and I picked it because it comes in a variety of size options and cuts (regular, petite, and tall).

First up, pair the shirt with a skirt and wedges. This is an easy classy look. You can also switch out the wedges for flats for a more casual look.

Next, throw a vest on over the shirt and pair it with a skirt that matches the color of the vest. Add some brown booties for an easy breezy Fall look.

Another option…pair the button down with a patterned blazer, dress pants, and heels for a classy look that can be worn as business during the day and remove the blazer for a more casual look in the evening for happy hour or anything else after work.
