My Best Purchase of 2021
If I had to narrow down my number one fashion purchase of 2021 it would have to be this simple white button up shirt. It's so easy to style and makes simple outfits look extra chic. Here are a few example of how I styled it this year, you definitely need one in your wardrobe!
In this streetwear style look I added the button up shirt as a layer over a pale blue t-shirt. Paired with baggy denim, white sneakers, and blue accessories, the white shirt helped to tie everything together. It was also great to have a layer over top of the t-shirt on a colder day. I really think the shirt elevated a simple jeans and a t-shirt outfit and made it more fashionable and trendy.
For summertime, the button up shirt is such a versatile cover-up. In this example I wore it overtop of my bikini, but you could also tie it around your waist or shoulders. This is a great way to cover and protect your skin from the sun while still looking fashionable and effortless. The crisp white would go with any pattern or colour of swimwear you have and is the perfect item to pack in your beach bag next summer!
This outfit was so simple and easy to put together, but ended up being one of my favourites from 2021. I added the unbuttoned shirt overtop of a white crop top paired with black split hem pants. I added a black bag and a black claw clip to my hair. This is a great neutral look if you're not a big fan of colour in your wardrobe.
