It's Official, Flared Pants Are Back in Style
The 90's trends have been super popular lately, and I'm especially excited about one! Flared pants are back and there's a good reason why. In this guide I'll show you a few outfits that I've worn recently that include flared pants. The flared style is really flattering and pairs great with a tightly fitted top to balance out the contrast of fitted and looser pieces together. Check out these three styles for some inspo next time you're looking to wear your flares.
First up we have a simple pair of flared denim jeans. I love this pair of Levi's that I picked up from Aritzia. The wash and fit are perfect and I know that they will be in my wardrobe for a long time due to their high quality. I paired them with a silky button up shirt and some fun matching purple accessories and love how this outfit wore throughout the day. The flowiness from the top and the flares on the jean leg balanced out the look and really levelled up this streetstyle inspired outfit.
Next up are my new favourite trousers that I will have to have in every colour. They have pleated details around the waist band and a simple flared fit throughout the leg which adds the perfect amount of detail to make them look special. I paired this grey pair with a corset style silky top and think this outfit would be so good for an afternoon out hitting the mall and would transition perfectly into a night look. Adding heels in place of sneakers would be the perfect swap to help transition the style, as well as adding some glam accessories like a statement necklace and bag.
This has to be one of my favourite outfits recently. This matching grey set features a tie detail long sleeved top and fit and flared bottoms. The grey fabric looked amazing by adding a contrasting bright blue bag into the mix. I finished the styling off with sneakers as this is a casual outfit and will definitely be wearing this on repeat!
