If you have not caught up with last weeks blog post, you can catch it here. Now let’s get into todays blog post, 4 best date night outfits for Valentine’s Day!
1. One Shoulder Dress
Nothing screams sexy more than a one shoulder dress in pink. This date night outfit for Valentine’s Day is a great option for a night on the town. Music, dancing, and love all in the air. If you guys are not married at the moment… he definitely will want to pop the question this night in this dress.
“Style Up” your look by color blocking and adding your favorite accessories. Because I am a basic mom with a touch of glam… adding these sparkly earrings from Fashion Nova was a great touch. They are currently on sale right now for $7 so I HIGHLY suggest you purchase a pair ASAP!
2. Two Piece Colored Set
The next best date night outfit for Valentine’s Day is this rainbow colored set. If you are into colors and looking to do something simple and fun on Valentine’s Day then this date night look is for you. I love how this set has so many colors, and it gives you a variety of colors to play with in your outfit choice. Because it is the day of love, I chose to go with the color pink.
I paired this look with a thrifted pink blazer to match my outfit and shoes. I felt in choosing this color choice it made the pink in the outfit stand out more. To “Style Up” I added my gold hoop earrings and a clear multi colored purse that matched the outfit. *Style Tip* Remember to play with the colors to match your mood and make the outfit work for you.
3. Red Dress
What good is Valentine’s Day if you are not wearing the symbolic color red! This dress will definitely make your date turn heads! If you are having a romantic dinner or a walk on the beach, then this dress is for you!
I kept the shoes and accessories to a minimal because the dress is the center of attention. *Style Tip* if you are wanting more attention, adding a basic print will “Style Up” your look even further. Read more about the basic prints here. Now you are ready for a romantic dinner OR a sports event by switching up your look to this….
The purpose of maximizing your wardrobe is by choosing clothing that is versatile and can be worn in any season. That is how you “Style Up”. Switch your heels with your favorite tennis shoes and add a graphic tee for layering and you are ready to go! Enjoy a sporting event or bowling in this look for date night on Valentine’s Day.
The final look for best date night outfits for Valentine’s Day is a simple jeans and duster combo. It is always a good option to go back with the basics, and jeans are a good option when the occasion calls for it.
To add some sexiness, because that is what I like (lol) I wore a soft pink corset top to remind my man that I still got it (lol). I believe this top is sold out, but I linked a similar one in the description just in case. Jeans are my go to and I always go to Charlotte Russe for all of my jeans. They are very affordable and have different styles for all sizes. I have had these jeans for 5 years and they are still in good shape. Lastly, I added a pop of color to “Style Up” my look with a mini handbag. My 2 year old swears it is her purse (lol)!
