Fashion Hack to Shorten Your Dress
You guys have to try this amazing fashion hack to shorten your long dress.
It’s so fun to find new ways to wear old clothing. You get to feel like you have a new garment without spending a dime.
Tools and materials:
- Long dress
1. Pull the bottom through and up
I’m using a long tunic-like dress with a slit down the front to show you this trick but it can work with any dress.
Take the bottom front corner of one side of the dress and pull it through the front of the garment until it is sticking out from the top by the neck.
Do the same with the other side.
2. Tie them in back
Pull the corners around to the back of the neck and tie them together.
3. Show some shoulder
Pull the sides of the neckline down around your shoulders to show a little skin and create a new and unique silhouette. It’s that easy.

This is such a great way to take a traditional piece and turn it into something fresh, modern, and stylish.
It started as a simple dress and now it’s a stylish top.
