7 Super Easy and Elegant Ways to Style an Infinity Dress

In this lookbook, I’ll be showing you how to style an infinity dress in seven different ways.


There are many different ways to style an infinity wrap dress, but many people are not aware of them and find themselves sticking to the same styles.


Here, I’ll be broadening your horizons with some new styling inspiration.

1. Position the front

Put the dress on normal with one strap over each shoulder.

2. Cross over the back

Fan the straps out at the back so they are nice and wide and then cross them over one another.

3. Cross and tie

Bring the straps to the front and cross them over your waist. Then bring them back round to your back and tie them together.

1. Roll the straps

Start by rolling each of the straps.

2. Cross over at the back

Cross the thin straps over at the back.

3. Cross and tie

Cross the rolled-up straps over at the front and then tie them at the back.

One shoulder twist style

1. Put both straps over one shoulder

From the previous look, take one of the straps and put it over your other shoulder so that you have two straps over the same shoulder.

2. Tie the straps

Bring both straps to your waist and tie them together.

I love this asymmetric look.


On-off shoulder style

1. Adjust the position of the straps

From the previous look, take one of the straps and position it horizontally on your shoulder, so that the two straps are at a 90-degree angle.

2. Tie the straps

Bring the straps to your waist and tie them in a double knot.

The straps here are styled in such a unique way.

1. Reposition the strap

From the previous look, take one of the straps from the waist and bring it up over your shoulder.

2. Cross the straps over

Cross the straps over at the back.

The contrast going on in this look between one shoulder and the other is just gorgeous.

1. Roll and cross the straps

Take both straps and roll them. Then cross them over one another at the front and bring them over your shoulders.

2. Cross the straps at the back

Cross the straps over at the back.

3. Cross and tie 

Cross the straps at the front across your waist. Do a wide cross-over where you can clearly see the ‘x’ shape. Then tie the straps together at the back.

I love how the crossover at the front mirrors the crossover neckline.

1. Bring the straps down

From the previous look, take the straps down from around your neck, still twisted, and bring them across your twist. Tie them at the back, still twisted.

2. Cross the straps

Cross the straps over your back, bringing them back up over your shoulders.

3. Tuck the straps under

Tuck the straps under the criss-crossed section at the front. Then pull them out from underneath.

This is the fanciest and dressed-up look of them all.
