Turn Any Maxi Into a Mini WITHOUT Cutting
Here, I’m going to show you how to turn a maxi dress into a mini dress without cutting it or making any permanent changes to it.

Tools and materials:
- Maxi dress
- Skinny belt
1. Put belt on
Start by putting on a skinny belt around your waist.
2. Turn belt around
Now, turn the belt around so that the buckle is behind your back.
3. Tuck dress under belt
Proceed to bring the dress up and tuck it under your belt like so.
4. Pull dress over belt
Then, pull the dress up and over the belt, this will have the effect of shortening it.
Turn any maxi into a mini WITHOUT cutting
Here is the finished look - we have successfully shortened the dress, and this new mini dress look has a really seamless finish.
This is such a great way to shorten a long dress without permanently altering it. Bear in mind that this hack works best with thinner fabrics.
