A white dress in the summer is perfection! While this classic look has always been a winner, this year white dresses are particularly popular. From casual to more formal, there is nothing quite like a crisp white dress for summer. Today I have rounded up several white dresses under $50!
Of course one of the best places to find affordable dresses is Target. This Women’s Balloon Long Sleeve Dress has all the elements of feminine style that is very prevalent in all of Target’s clothing lines this year. The ruffle detail is scaled down, which I personally like, and the swiss dot pattern adds interest.
For sizing, I went with a medium which fit pretty well with the exception of some tightness in the chest.
The only negative with this particular dress is that it is partially lined on the bottom half, but the top is see through, so keep that in mind. I wore a cami underneath, but if you don’t want to mess with that then you might want to pass on this one.
The next two white dresses under $50 are from Amazon. These are more casual styles and the possible uses for them are endless. As I have mentioned several times, I am a dress girl in the summer. I would much rather wear a comfortable dress than shorts, so casual dresses are right up my alley.
First is this V-neck swing dress. I was really impressed with the quality of this dress and it is fully lined. It is not see through and I was able to just wear nude undergarments. I sized up to a large because I wasn’t sure with the buttons how it would fit. For me, the large fit nicely but if you are smaller chested you could just go with your normal size.
This would be a great piece to have for traveling and could even be used as a swim cover-up. It also comes in several other colors and patterns.
The last white dress under $50 is this knit midi dress. This is a thick, high quality knit that is very soft. Again, I was worried about it being see through but it wasn’t. Other colors are also available in this style if you don’t want white.
I love that this style has a defined waist. I’m wearing a medium which is my normal size.
