4 Brunch Outfit Ideas That AREN'T a Floral Maxi Dress

Okay, hear me out. I LIVE for a floral maxi dress and a good brunch. And the two of them seem to go hand in hand almost as good as peanut butter and jelly. But let's face it - everyone wears this outfit to brunch sooner or later. Here, I'm offering 4 other brunch outfit ideas for when you're feeling like switching it up!

A simple tank and a pair of high waisted, wide leg jeans. This combination has become a uniform of mine. It looks super chic and effortless for all occasions, especially brunch. Throw on some gold jewelry and oversized sunnies to finish the look.

Laid back and casual. I paired these looser trousers with an off the shoulder, slouchy shirt. Don't forget to tuck your shirt in to define that waist! Pulling the shirt off the shoulder is *key* to make baggier clothes look chic and sexy.

I love combining a more masculine look with a feminine one. Button down shirts timeless and SUCH a good investment piece. And if you don't own one, I'm sure you know someone you can borrow one from! Here I've unbuttoned mine to make more of a V-neck and paired it with a white mini skirt and heels.

Bodysuits and midi skirts are two of my favorite wardrobe items, so I find myself pairing them together all the time. ESPECIALLY for brunch! Even better if it's a rooftop brunch *wink!* I wore this with strappy sandals, black sunnies, gold jewelry, and a black fanny pack (worn around my shoulder like a purse).

Keep rocking that maxi dress! But I hope I've also inspired you to explore your closet further for your next brunch outing. Follow me on IG for more style advice and shopping selections! @_melissaduncan_
