Mom jeans are the new jeans that everyone’s wearing. For those not familiar with the fit, they’re high on the waist and loose on the thigh with a tapered leg. They also tend to be rolled up on the bottom, falling above the ankle. They are a great fit of jeans to try out if you haven’t already done so, and if you’re not sure what to wear them with, then I have ten fashionable looks you can wear!

Dressed up

Not sure how to dress mom jeans up? It's simple. All you need is a blazer, a pair of heels and a cute bag and voila! You have a chic, sophisticated outfit. Stick to a neutral color palette to keep things looking light and fresh.

White shirt

A white shirt and jeans is a classic combination that you can’t go wrong with. Wear the shirt untucked for a relaxed feel and elevate the look with a pair of heels and a feminine purse.

Silk smart

Dress things up with a silk vest - a material that elevates whatever you wear it with. Throw a blazer over the top for a smart-casual look.

Knit sweater

Go for a snuggly sweater for a cozy look. A pair of flats and a crossbody bag will create an easy everyday look.

Trench coat

A trench coat won't let you down when worn over a white shirt and jeans. As always, heels are a good option, and so is a chic clutch bag.

Black beauty

We all know that black is a universally flattering color. Pair your mom jeans with a black top, blazer, and heels for a sophisticated look. A black leather shoulder bag will finish off the look.

Pink silk

This look strikes the perfect balance between casual and put-together. I've gone for a silk blouse in a lush pale pink color with a white blazer on top. To finish it off, I'm wearing a white belt to accentuate the waistline.

Stripey sweater

For a simple casual look, go with a stripy sweater and a pair of sneakers. Easy, laid-back, and relaxed - what more could you want?

White cardi

Want something sassy and stylish? Go for a white v-neck cardigan; the one I'm wearing has silver buttons, which add a pop of pizzaz to the piece. Style it with a comfy pair of sandals for a laid-back and relaxed feel.

Minimal chic

Lastly, for something very minimal yet gorgeous at the same time, pair your mom jeans with a pastel-colored sweater and a pair of flats. Keep accessories to a minimum by just wearing a simple leather belt to define the waistline.

I hope that you like the ten outfits I’ve put together. Whether you’re looking for something more formal or something more casual, there is an outfit that you can try. My main tip is to know your figure and what pieces will be the most flattering for you. Choose clothes that will draw attention to your best features.
