If you are a mom and you are planning to go on a beach vacation with your family, you know that 90% of the time on the beach you will spend NOT sitting in your beach chair and enjoying a cold drink. This is our reality while our kids are small. They need us more than they ever will. So, if I am going to be running around the beach chasing my toddler and building castles with her, I better have a comfy, trendy swimsuit on!

I’ve collected a few options for you, ladies. I know I titled this post “bikinis for moms”, but you will see that they are pretty fun to wear for anyone.

Anyone in leopard mood? I have clearly been in one all this summer (and continue to be in it, as I am looking a getting a pair of leopard booties for the fall – spoiler alert!)

But, seriously, when it comes to trendy swimsuits for moms, you can call this one a winner! It comes in several colors. I got it in white and pink (because I could not decide and ended up loving them BOTH). The top is pretty much like a workout bra, just a fancy one, with a removable belt. The belt I highly recommend to keep on, or move it down to the waist/bottom area. It makes the bikini look even more flattering.

The high-waist bottoms are very comfortable and provide a good coverage. I suggest going one size up and adding your own bra pads, as the ones it comes with are small and thin.

Now, let me introduce you to this one shoulder cut out one-piece swimsuit. Mommy friendly AND beautiful! And yes, it is definitely a hot pink color. However, do not worry – the color is gorgeous! Well, if you don’t love it, there are many more colors to choose from. The material is very soft but sturdy, so it will be sure to provide good tummy control. This swimsuit does run small, I recommend going 1-2 sizes up.

Off-shoulder swimsuit anyone? “Oh no, moms don’t wear them. They are too revealing and uncomfortable.” Not really! I wore this swimsuit on the beach several days in a row while riding waves with my kiddos, sitting and rolling around in sand. I test drove it well and it’s worth it! Well, how? You might wonder? There is a little secret. This two-piece swimsuit comes with removable and adjustable straps to ensure the top does not fall down. It is made out of very thick double-layer material and gives you a lot support and coverage while maintaining this gorgeous look.
