Style Guide for Which Hairstyle Goes With Which Collar Type
How a person styles their hair is a core component of their overall look.
In this style guide, I’m going to show you which hairstyle looks good with different types of necklines.
1. Strapless
With a strapless top, I think it looks best to wear your hair down.
I just love the look of my hair sweeping over my bare shoulders.
My hair also adds some interest around my face, seeing as the top doesn’t have anything around the neck.
2. V-neck
With a V-neck top, opt for a half-up, half-down look.
This allows your hair to add some interest around the wide, open V-neck while not completely covering up the shoulders of the top.
3. Turtleneck
When wearing a turtleneck top, go for a ponytail.
4. Neckholder
Lastly, for a neckholder style top, go for an updo.
A fancy top such as this needs an equally fancy hairstyle to match, and an updo delivers when looking for something a bit more elevated.
