Easy Dip Powder Nail Design Tutorial
Follow this tutorial to learn a dip powder nail design. This design features blue and white acrylic nails.
I used false medium stiletto-tip nails, but you could certainly do the same nail art on your natural nails. And of course, choose whatever color you love best!
Tools and materials:
- Acrylic base coat
- Blue and white acrylic nail dip powder
- Nail dip activator
- Clear top coat
- False stiletto-tip nails (optional)
- Muffin cups for nail powder
1. Apply a base coat
Apply a clear acrylic base coat to your nails.
2. First dip
With the base coat wet, dip your thumbnail into white dip powder, and brush off extra powder.
Repeat on your two middle fingers.
3. Apply top coat
Apply a clear top coat over your white powder-dipped nails.
Repeat with two to three coats of base coat and dip to get the coverage you want.
4. Second dip
Repeat steps 2 and 3 using blue nail dip powder on your index and baby fingers.
5. Begin your nail art
Add some drops of blue powder dip to some white powder.
Use a small nail stick to marble the two colors slightly.
Add a coat of clear base to a white nail, and dip it into the marbled powder.
Let it dry and then add another layer of base, and dip it again.
6. Apply activator
Apply two coats of activator to all nails.
7. Add top coat
Finish your nails with a clear top coat.
