Double Bubble Braid Tutorial
Here, I’m going to show you how to create a double bubble braid look.
This hairstyle is super easy to create. All you need are some hair elastics and nothing more. Let’s get straight into it!
Tools and materials:
- Hair elastics
1. Tie half ponytail
Start by parting your hair down the center. Then, take a small section of hair at the top of your head on one side and tie it with an elastic.
2. Tie second half ponytail
Now, take another section of hair, incorporating it with the half ponytail that you already have.
Tie a second half ponytail about an inch below the first.
3. Continue
Continue doing this all the way down your head, incorporating more hair each time and tying it with hair elastics. I used six elastics in total.
4. Pull on hair
Gently pull on the hair between the elastics to make it more loose.
5. Repeat
Now, repeat on the other side.
Make sure that you position the hair elastics on the second side the same distance apart as the first so that the two sides are symmetrical.

Here is the finished double bubble braid look with the bubble braids running all the way from the top of my head to the bottom.
I love how the braids are mirror images and are exactly the same on each side. I also really like the voluminous look we’ve created by pulling on the hair in between each elastic.
