Hold on tight and I'm going to share all the details with you, here we go my starting place. beautiful Crepe fabric and the pattern, ready to start with my pins and scissors waiting to get stuck in!!

I really love this Crepe fabric, the colour is fab isn't it!!?

Firstly we need to get that flat fabric to fit around my curves. Pleats under the bust and darts in the back is the first step!!

Now we need to attach the front bodice to the back at the shoulder seams, I also quickly tacked the sides and tried it on, just to check the fit.

After checking the fit I attached the neck facing. This makes the neck lie nice and flat and we don't need to attach binding around the neck. I prefer a facing to a binding as I think the finish is so much more professional looking!

The skirt is actually made of 5 panels, so the next step was to stitch all the panels together.

Now were going to stitch the bodice to the skirt.

Now we have almost finished, just the zip to do and a quick hem. Are you ready to see my finished pics??

I love this dress so much and I'm sure it will gets lots of wear at fancy occasions. Here I'm wearing it with a nice statement necklace and heels!!

But what about this, its also perfect to wear for a garden party with a cardi, pumps and some cool shades!!

I hope you like my Anna dress?
