Easy Hack for a Waterfall Look on Your Braids
Here’s a simple way to create a waterfall look with your braid.
This easy, braided, half-up hack will take you just minutes to complete, but the effect is stunning!
Best hair ties!
Tools and materials:
- 1 hair elastic
1. Start with a simple braid
Working one side of your head at a time, begin by making a small simple braid from a small section of hair at the front of one side.
Secure the braid at the bottom with a clear hair elastic.
2. Create the waterfall effect
Take another small section of hair from just behind your starting braid.
Open the hole created in the first twist of your braid.
Put two fingers through that hole, from bottom to top, and grab your second section of hair.
Now, pull that section of hair down through the hole.
3. Repeat the waterfall
Grab another section of hair, behind the second section, and pull it through the hole made by the second twist of your braid.
Repeat with additional sections of hair working down all the twists of your braid.
Repeat on the other side of your head.
4. Connect your braids
Wrap your braids to the back of your head and secure them together with your hair elastic.
