Halloween Eyeball Nail Art in 6 Easy Steps
In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to do fun eyeball nail art. These Halloween eyeball nails are the perfect addition to any scary costume, or a fun and inexpensive way to show Halloween spirit when you don’t feel like dressing up.
So, whether you’re just browsing nail designs for Halloween or you’re already breaking out the polish, let’s go ahead and get started!
Tools and materials:
- Base coat
- White nail polish
- Blue nail polish
- Black nail polish
- Red nail polish
- Clear nail polish
- Brush
- Dotting tool
1. Apply base coat
Apply a glossy base coat over your entire nail.
2. Apply white nail polish
Cover your nail entirely in white nail polish. This will act as the sclera or the whites of the eye.
After it’s dried, add an additional coat of white nail polish so it’s a bit opaquer, and then let it dry.
3. Draw the iris
Now to create the iris, use a dotting tool to draw a blue circle in the center of the nail. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Let it dry.
4. Draw the pupil
Then, use black nail polish to add a black dot inside the blue circle to create the pupil. You can just use the brush or the dotting tool for this.
5. Draw the veins
Using a very thin brush, draw squiggly lines around the iris with red nail polish to create the veins. Branch off of some of the lines and create some thinner or thicker than the others to create a bit of variety in the appearance of the veins for a creepier look, and then let it dry.
6. Apply top coat
Add a glossy top coat on top of the dry nail.
