Create Cute Halloween Scarecrow Makeup With This Easy Tutorial
In this tutorial, we’re doing Halloween makeup scarecrow edition. I’m going to show you how to do scarecrow makeup for those of you looking for hot girl Halloween costumes! Let’s get started.
Tools and materials:
- Foundation
- Powder
- Eyeshadow
- Liquid eyeliner
- Beauty blender
- False lashes
- Bronzer
- Lipstick
- Eye pencil
1. Apply foundation
First, apply foundation. Dab it all over your skin and then set it with powder so it lasts all night.
2. Apply bronzer
Apply a lot of bronzer on your forehead and down your nose and brush it up into your eyebrows to get a deep shadow on that part of your face.
3. Add faux freckles
Use a black pencil to apply your faux freckles so they really stand out against your makeup.
4. Fill in your eyebrows
Use a brown eyeshadow to fill in your eyebrows. I’m doing mine a little bit dark, but not too dark, because that is how I like them.
Use black eyeshadow to blend out the outside of your eyebrows so it looks a bit more natural.
Put some foundation on a beauty blender to clean them up so they’re more defined. You can blend that out with more bronzer.
5. Apply orange eyeshadow
Sweep orange eye shadow over your eyes and also underneath them.
Also, take a lighter orange eyeshadow and brush that over the eyeshadow you just applied.
6. Apply eyeliner
Use that same eyeliner to draw false lashes underneath your eyes. My lashes are very short and thin, so even if I put on mascara, you couldn’t see them.
7. Apply light eyeshadow to your inner corners
Apply a very light eyeshadow to the inner corners of your eyes.
8. Apply light eyeshadow across your mouth
Take the same eyeshadow from the previous step and wipe it over the sides of your face from your mouth to brighten up the area before you draw on the stitches.
9. Apply light eyeshadow to your brows
Also, apply that same shade to your brows.
10. Brush off the light eyeshadow
Use a beauty blender to very lightly dab off the eyeshadow. You want to brush it very lightly so you’re not brushing off all of it.
11. Apply “blush” with orange eyeshadow
Using the same orange shade that you swept over your eyes, make a circular motion on the apple of your cheeks.
Also, put a little triangle of orange on the tip of your nose.
12. Blend the orange with a burgundy red
Next, pick a burgundy-red color to darken up the orange you’re using. Blending out the orange with the burgundy red will add some dimension, so apply that to your cheeks, nose, and the creases of your eyes.
13. Outline and add stitches to your nose
Use a liquid liner to add an outline around the eyeliner on the tip of your nose. Then, add little dashes which are going to act as stitches since we are doing cute scarecrow makeup today and scarecrows have lots of stitches.
14. Apply bronzer on your jawline
Go back in with the bronzer and chisel out the jawline.
15. Create faux dirt
Use a brown eyeshadow to add some faux dirt to your forehead, the crease underneath the highlight you put in your inner tear duct, and use it to really define that stitch line we’re going to draw.
16. Draw stitches on your forehead
To draw the stitches, create a little grid by going across and then up and down, and add little dots to the ends to make it look a bit more realistic.
17. Apply lipstick
For lipstick, use an orangey-pinkish color.
18. Line your lips
Use black liquid eyeliner to line your lips and make them darker in the corners.
Then, draw a line from those corners straight up towards your ears.
19. Highlight
Highlight above and below where you drew the line with a light eyeshadow.
Also, highlight your inner tear ducts again just to make it pop and on your bottom lash line. Dust it out with a beauty blender.
20. Draw stitches on your mouth
Draw little Xs across where you drew the line on your mouth and add little dots on the ends.
21. Fill in the inside of your lips with eyeshadow
Use the burgundy-red eyeshadow to line the inside of your lips. Then use the original orange to dab it on the inside as well.
Use a black shadow on the very inner part of your lips.
22. Draw stitches on your lips
Draw a stitch line on the top and bottom lip.
23. Apply falsies
Apply big false lashes.
If your lashes aren’t very thick, you can also smoke out your eyes with some black eyeshadow.
