- Pencil
- Hair straighteners
1. Wrap hair around pencil
Start by wrapping your hair around a pencil like so.
2. Push curls up
Push the curls up to condense them together.
3. Apply heat to curls
Now, take a hair straightener and hold it over your curls.
Gradually bring it down from top to bottom, allowing the hair straighteners to rest on each part of the curls for a few moments.
4. Unravel curls
Now, unravel your curls from the pencil.

I would sit on the floor I front of my mum and she would do this to my hair on Saturday nights and sleep with her silk scarf and wake up to little ringlets , or she would use her fingers and pins ( pin curls ) , thanks for the memories 😊
