1. Make a low ponytail
Collect all of your hair into a sleek, low ponytail. Then separate a small section of hair on 1 side of the ponytail.
2. Add hair elastics
Next, add evenly spaced hair elastics along the length of this section of hair.
For a bold look, I recommend using hair elastics in a color that contrasts with your hair color. If you have dark hair, you could use white hair elastics.
3. Wrap
Wrap the rope-like strand of hair around the base of the ponytail to cover the hair tie. Then use a bobby pin to secure the end underneath.
