How I'm Wearing My Hair for the Pride Parade
Check out how I’m wearing my hair for the pride parade this year!
If you have medium to long hair, great! This will be perfect for you.
If you have shorter hair, like me, try using hair extensions like I did for this hairstyle.
Tools and materials:
- Hair extensions and claw clip (optional)
- Hair elastics
1. Add hair extensions (optional)
If you have shorter hair and you’re trying out this look, clip up the top half of your hair to your head to get it out of the way.
Then apply your extensions between the 2 layers for perfectly hidden extensions.
2. Separate a section of hair and put elastics down the length
Separate a small section of hair next to your face and tie hair elastics, evenly spaced, down the length of the hair.
This creates a kind of faux braid.
Repeat on the other side of your face.
3. Join and flip
Join the two faux braids at the ends, in front of your face.
Then, flip it backward to go around your head.
4. Make 2 thin braids
Make a thin braid on one side of your face and tie off the end with an elastic.
Then repeat on the other side of your face.
