How to Color Correct Dark Circles
If you struggle using an orange or peach corrector, I’ll show you how to color-correct dark circles without the color peeking through. Let’s get into it!
Tools and materials:
- Eye cream
- Color corrector
- Concealer
- Loose setting powder
- Makeup brushes
1. Apply an eye cream
Starting with an eye cream helps to hydrate your under eyes.
2. Apply a color corrector
Depending on your skin tone, pick a peach or orange color corrector and apply it to your undereyes.
Blend it in with a brush.
3. Apply concealer
Apply a little concealer over your under eye.
Blend that in as well.
4. Set
Take some loose setting powder and dust the excess off before applying it. Use it to set your under eye.
How to color correct dark circles
I don’t have crazy dark circles, but look at this difference!
The key to this technique is to apply thin layers of these products and your dark circles will disappear in no time.
