How to Get Your Sneakers to Stop Smelling Funky
Are your sneakers smelling a little funky? Do not despair! There is a simple solution to get rid of that bad smell and it is incredibly easy and straightforward.
Here, I’m going to show you how to get them smelling fresh again with just three ingredients that you will already have around the house.
Tools and materials:
- Coffee filter
- Essential oil
- Baking soda
- Spoon
- Rubber bands
1. Mix ingredients together
Take two tablespoons of baking soda, add five drops of essential oil, and mix them together.
2. Place in coffee filters
Divide them between two coffee filters and seal them with a rubber band.
3. Place filters in shoes
Place the filters in your shoes and keep them there overnight.
Sneaker hack
In just three easy steps with three simple ingredients, you are able to get your bad-smelling sneakers smelling fresh again.
As you sleep, the bad odor will be eliminated overnight. This is such an easy DIY hack, there is no excuse not to try it out!

That's a genius hack, will definitely try it. In the meantime I use those silica baggies that come when you buy new items and they do a good job soaking in the moisture and no stinky shoes 🙂
