I had these beautiful tiny millefiori glass patterned beads but wanted to somehow make them into a pendant style necklace. I was Inspired after seeing someone else’s version of resin jewellery making online it looked easy and so I decided to have a go myself. Here’s how I did it.

Pendant tray

I used a silver metal pendant blank that would allow me to place my beads into the base and build my own design. These are easily available to buy online and come in many styles and colours.

Resin pour

I squeeze the bottle of resin slowly over the beads and in gaps so it just covers and levels out. Once they are filled I leave them to cure in sun. Within a few hours they are set hard and ready to add a chain.

Designing

I begin by arranging the pretty little glass beads by colour and size. I experiment with bigger beads on the outer edge and inner placement too. Also alternating colours and patterns to make sure not to repeat next to each other and create a balanced piece of jewelery.

Curing

I use a silver colour metal link chain about 15 inch and thread it through the attached bail.

it’s ready to wear proudly!
