Coquette style refers to a flirtatious and playful vibe and when we’re talking about hair, it refers to looks that are charming and feminine.
Here I’m going to show you a gorgeous coquette hairstyle involving bows - keep reading to find out how to create it.
Tools and materials:
- Hair straighteners
- Hair elastics
- Ribbons
1. Crimp hair
Begin by crimping your hair. To achieve this, take a section of hair from the front on one side.
Hold the straighteners over a portion of it for a few moments.
Next, leave a small gap and repeat the process with the straighteners over the hair below. Continue this technique all the way down.
2. Crimp another section
Then, take another section of hair behind that one and do the same thing.
3. Repeat on other side
Now, repeat this process on the other side of your head. You can continue to crimp all of your hair if you so choose.
4. Tie ponytail
Tie a small ponytail on one side of your head.
5. Bring ponytail through gap
Create a gap in your hair above the elastic and bring the ponytail through to create a fishtail look.
6. Pull on hair
Gently pull on your hair to make it more voluminous.
7. Add bow
Now add a bow around the elastic.
8. Repeat
Repeat the same process on the other side of your hair.

Here is the finished look! I love the gorgeous twisted fishtail look on either side, coupled with the baby pink bows.
